Open Gardens Exhibition June 2008

The village where I live holds an open gardens event every year, which always attracts many visitors and raises several thousand pounds for the church and community centre. About 20 generous people open their gardens for 2 days in June for visitors to wander around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Refreshments are available in some gardens, but also in the village hall and the pub. There are also plant sales and various exhibitions in different locations in the village. This year some of my paintings and prints will be on display in the church and prints will be on sale; a donation will be made to the event fund for every print sold.
